Location: Newark, NJ

A development plan on a prominent parcel of land, a designated brownfield site fronting on the Passaic River and adjacent to Newark Penn Station, the Legal Center and the Prudential’s Gateway complex, it includes a multilevel parking structure below a twelve-story, 250,000 sf office building, a 350-room hotel and a 45,000 sf convention center. Additional components of the plan include corporate condominiums on the upper floors of the hotel structure, a culinary institute, and a 50,000 sf historic structure, one of the last waterfront industrial structures remaining in the area, for conversion as a retail and entertainment center. A marina and a linear waterfront park are also incorporated into the plan developed for PSEG and its development partner Millennium Partners.
