What began as a simple building adaptation of a discarded utilities company site for habitation by the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills evolved into what is now being hailed as a “model for the nation” by former New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean, Chairman of the 9/11 Commission.
The VNA headquarters, located at 200 Mt. Airy Road is a unique, multi-purpose campus that Evelyn Savage, President & CEO says “Provides us with a platform to expand our services to the Somerset and Morris County communities as the need for services continues to grow. We owe thanks to a visionary group of people, including the VNA Board, our architects and builders, dedicated volunteers and a grassroots fundraising effort that included a precedent-setting partnership between local government and a non-profit organization.”
