In his 35+ years as an Architect, Michael has gained extensive experience in Facilities Planning, Programming, and Design. He has varied experience, including institutional, medical and higher education with an emphasis on healthcare.

With projects ranging from small-scale renovations to master plans to complex, multi-phased new construction projects, Mr. Azarian has successfully managed projects in all phases of Planning, Design and Construction. Using his deep knowledge of the industry, Michael is focused on achieving clients’ goals.

Michael has served on the New York Chapter AIA Health Facilities Committee and has held a former teaching post for Urban Health and  Environmental Design at New York University, as well as having served as a guest critic at Harvard. His work has been featured in over a dozen publications, including the Harvard University Press, Health Facilities Review, The AIA Press, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. As a thought leader, Michael has spoken at industry forums and led panel discussions on healthcare issues and contemporary healthcare topics.
