Chilton Hospital initiated a major examination of is mission and goals in 2009/2010. This process took a serious view of the hospitals role in the local community as well as the larger region that it services. One of the outgrowths of that larger study was the examination of the Hospitals Campus for its ultimate build out to support the goals of enhanced and enlarged medical services in the northern Morris County area.
Planned Uses:
Ambulatory care – Medical office facility
A planned 99,000 sf building developed over three phases and including outpatient facilities such as imaging/radiology, a diabetes center, a vascular lab, a sleep center and other related medical practice specialties for Chilton affiliated practice groups. Approximately 50% of the structure will be occupied by staff and direct employees while the balance will represent direct affiliated practice specialties.
Hospice Facility:
A fourteen (14) suite 13,000 SF family focused hospice facility will be located to
the rear of the site and will incorporate private suites consisting of single occupancy bedrooms, family gathering spaces and appropriate support facilities.
Daycare Facility:
A planned expansion and relocation of a current facility on site into a permanent 9,000 SF Including a small sheltered outdoor play area is incorporated within the building with minimum exposure to the street and surrounding views.
