KG’s reinvention of a former freestanding Talbots retail store was later adapted by the Bank of NY as their Morris County private banking home.
The winner of over a dozen national and local awards for building adaptation and sustainable practices, this geothermal heated and cooled home office is sited next to a legendary and now preserved farmland site, and tells us that reinvention can happen at all scales and all dimensions.

10 N Park Place - Morristown, NJ
1900 era commercial bldg. repositioning with a fifth-floor addition and building lobby and amenity upgrades, located on the historic Morristown Green.
Prallsville Mills - Stockton, NJ
Renovation and expansion of outbuildings to on-site uses, a historic listed property. Project completed for the State of NJ, Delaware and Raritan Canal Commission.
32 Water Street - Stonington, CT
Renovation and adaptation of a historic waterfront industrial mill as the new location for the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club.
94 Church Street - New Brunswick, NJ
Four-story brick residential bldg. repositioned for office use including masonry and stonework repair, window replacements, and full lobby restoration.
Stone Silo - Stonington, CT
250-year old Connecticut farmhouse and farm property - restoration and expansion including outbuildings, barns, sheds, orchard, gardens and riding facilities.

Mendham House - Mendham, NJ
Reconstruction and reinvention for a 5,500 sf home directly on the banks of the Raritan River at its confluence of Burnett and Ironia Brooks, lending the same Headwaters, to this integrated an environmentally responsive home.
Florida House - Cape Haze, FL
A new home in the coast zone of the Gulf of Mexico, intended as a retirement residence for a senior corporate executive. The project exceeds all coastal design standards for a category 5 hurricane, using concrete and steel frame construction to surpass standards.
Community Design Workshop - Stonington, CT
Conversion of a downtown retail structure in historic Stonington Connecticut to the offices for the Community Design Workshops of Eastern CT.
Austell Place - Long Island City, NY
1910, era three-story factory repositioned for office use with a two-story glass addition with open terraces highlighting Manhattan views.

Carriage Court - 264 South Street, Morristown, NJ
1860, Victorian carriage house renovation, and the addition of a second replica companion building on site, located in a historic district.
Hodgson Residence - Harding Twp., NJ
Renovation and expansion of rural 1930-era estate home on a wooded and rural site in rural Morris County.

Deirdre’s House - Court Street, Morristown, NJ
The reconstruction and expansion of a historic home for conversion to the first Child Advocacy Center in the nation. Located on the lawn of the historic and listed Morris County Courthouse this project was completed for the County of Morris and the Morris County Child Victim’s multi-discipline team, a not-for-profit user.
