BENCHMARKS:
KG was tasked with a complex problem - Edgewell wanted to expand parts of their lab space, while also decommissioning some unused aspects of their facility. Furthermore, the adjacent lab user wanted to expand. We worked with Edgewell to create a phased plan that allowed a step by step transition of building new medical grade laboratories, renovating existing labs, and most importantly, relocating and expanding a huge stability chamber facility.
New spaces were created, and both new and relocated equipment were installed in stages, allowing on-going long-term testing to stay active and be completed before moving. This was carefully coordinated with both the contractor and the lab users themselves in a step by step manner across a years long build. The net result was newly renovated state of the art facilities, downsized to permit their neighbor’s expansion.
