MARKET SIGNIFICANCE:
Hartz had been occupying their existing space for nearly 25 years, facing the classic problems of the industry - it was too large and spread across several floors, impeding the flow of daily function.
Their space was severely outdated and well worn, and the technical components were all oversized for their needs. More importantly, they had two separate buildings, one for lab and research, and one for office space, which they wanted to combine into a single space.
BENCHMARKS:
By relocating to their new space, we were able to take advantage of a high-end buildout and customize it to Hartz’s unique requirements. This included creating a more functional workspace with new modern collaboration style areas and glass and sunlight throughout. Also, approximately half of the space is dedicated lab environments with flexible modern layouts, just steps away from the office areas, allowing cross pollination and communication.
