KG’s Penny Starace Honored in NJBIZ’s 2024 Leaders in Finance

We are proud to announce that our Senior Accountant and Financial Chief Penny Starace is named one of the honorees in NJBIZ's 2024 Leaders in Finance. She will be honored on April 18th. We are very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to seeing what lies ahead in her prestigious career.

About Penny:

Penny began her career in 1984 as a bookkeeper with a professional placement firm. Her responsibilities there included typical accounting functions in payroll and AP. After ten years, Penny paused her career for her most important role, one as a Mother. While working as a Domestic Engineer, she won Employee of the Month for 102 consecutive months! Here she has flourished, raising 4 boys (3 sons and a husband).

Penny joined the KG team in 2003, with the experience she transferred from all those important prior roles. We hit the jackpot with Penny, she quickly advanced assuming many responsibilities that include invoicing and collections efforts and coordinating vendor relations.

She also assumed a role with respect to employee benefits. As time went on Penny absorbed more HR functions including employee orientation/onboarding. More importantly she fills a role as a confidant and a source for resolving issues that emerge over the workday.

Now in a larger role addressing the financial requirements of the company - interfacing with banks and other financial institutions and managing client accounts. Vital and in direct support of the Partnership and the KG Leadership Team which has grown to a $12.5 mil volume during her tenure.
