MARKET SIGNIFICANCE:
Relocating in Jersey City, Scynexis decided to leave their previous office space, which was choppy and maze-like, in favor of an open, interconnected environment. This new headquarters location not only supports integrated day to day functioning, but also provides a space to host events.
BENCHMARKS:
An entire floor became dedicated to their office, lending a full perimeter of sunlight to glass fronted offices and workstations, therefore carrying the natural light further into the space. A single multi-use space was developed for pantry, entry, meeting, collaboration, and events, providing scientists the opportunity to meet and talk throughout the day. The four corners were designated conference spaces with the themes of fire, water, light, and air. The space was designed entirely under the influence of traditional feng shui principles.
