The Grand Exterior Improvements

MARKET SIGNIFICANCE:
This is a two building complex set in a landscape and wooded area with a central pond in between the two building lots. Working with ownership, we created a walking and fitness path, complete with exterior gym stations. We added exterior eating and work/meeting areas and a bridge to span across the pond at the center and built exterior patio spaces with sheltered areas to create connectivity between the two buildings, which is important as there are shared amenity spaces in the buildings.
BENCHMARKS:
Due to environmental and wetland constraints, there was a concern about permitting and approval process. KNA was instrumental in working with the township to add these site improvements without having to go to the state DEP or even requiring detailed engineering documentation, by careful review and interpretation. We also added a large new interior amenity area for collaboration/work/lounge/game and training centers at building 2.
