MARKET SIGNIFICANCE:
This project began with the examination and study of an existing structure on site for adaptation and expansion for VNA of Somerset Hills, a two-building campus. The 25,000 sf multi-story main building houses the VNA headquarters and operations center, and the 11,000 sf second structure accommodates the ultimate expansion of the VNA and its Senior Day Care Program.
The campus consists of two steel-frame, metal-roofed, brick-veneered, shed-shaped structures built around an open-air, landscaped courtyard, with paths leading to gardens and trails for the clients of the senior center. This project is an award winner.
